We’re proud to share that our recent follow-up emergency and outbreak preparedness workshop with the Measina Youth/Volleyball Club was a vibrant success, full of energy, insight, and leadership from our youth.

Building on the foundations laid in our first session, this workshop focused on practical emergency and outbreak preparedness, with a special lens on individual and community response, communication, and well-being. Our young leaders came ready with reflections and a strong sense of responsibility.

InformationNZ and HealthNZ recently partnered to deliver two educational workshops focused on measles vaccination and emergency preparedness. Hosted at Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Stokes Valley and Ekalesia Nasareta Samoa, Wainuiomata, these sessions brought vital health messages directly into trusted community spaces.

Both churches welcomed the kaupapa with open hearts, encouraging their congregations to protect their families and wider community. The workshops were well attended and warmly received, with many participants signing up for measles vaccinations on the day. This strong show of support reflects the deep commitment of our faith communities to collective wellbeing and resilience.
